Sonic Games

In 1983 the first Mario Bros game was released by Nintendo. In 1991 The first Sonic The Hedgehog game was released by Sega in the attempt to out do Nintendo's Mario. In 1993 The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, an animated cartoon series, came out on TV. Also in 1993 Super Mario Bros the movie was released and featured real people. Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog have been going at it for almost 20 years and it is time that they both branch out and start battling for the form of Flash Games over the internet.

We started Mario vs Sonic in the atempt to start a community based on Mario and Sonic's rivalry as well as provide entertainment via Mario and Sonic flash games and animations. We want to bring Mario fans and Sonic fans together on one site so they can talk about all things Mario and Sonic. We plan to have a discussion board in the future so our users can talk about their favorite Mario and/or Sonic games and what why they signed up on the team that they did.

How to Play
To play all you have to do is play games on this site that are about your favorite character. Every time you play a Mario game Mario's score will go up a little. Same for palying Sonic games also. Another way to help your favorite character is to signup on our site. When you signup you are asked if you want to play for Mario's team or Sonic's team. Signing ups is free and the information you signup with will is kept safe and never misused.

The overall stats are in the leaderboard in the top right corner of our site. And to stats for the current day are in the left sidebar on all pages. The overall leaderboard shows the number of team members (fans) and total score for each team. The today stats show the total Mario/Sonic game plays in the current day and also show the average rating of all the Mario/Sonic games as rated in the current day.
